Temidire Owolabi, 22, of Chafford Hundred, entered Cakes and Shakes, in High Road, on November 14 2011 and shot 24-year-old James Bryant twice at point-blank range.

His mother and friends witnessed the shooting in broad daylight.

They were clearing up mess in the closed cafe from when the window was blasted out with a shotgun days before.

Mr Bryant survived the attack but fell into a coma and spent two months recovering in hospital.
