Angling opportunities for young people at Redbridge Lakes

Monday, August 20, 2012
12:15 PM

Following the success of a children’s fishing competition in July, Redbridge Lakes in Woodford Green is organising more events to get young people into angling.

To send a link to this page to a friend, you must be logged in.

Under-16s competitions will be held on Wednesday and on August 29 at the lakes near Roding Lane North, with an entrance fee of £8 and tackle prizes for winners.

Children can also now enter open competitions at the site and learn more from experienced anglers.

Entrants on Wednesday should meet at 9am, with the draw for pegs at 9.30am and fishing from 10.30am to 2.30pm.
