16-year-old robbed in Hainault by two males on push bikes

Two males carrying a small knife robbed a 16-year-old in Hainault and made away with his mobile phone on Saturday.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the robbery which happened at 5pm when two men approached the victim, who was with a friend in the car park on Foremark Close.

Suspect one produced a small pen knife and searched the victim’s pocket before removing a Blackberry mobile phone.

The suspect then attempted to search the pockets of the second victim but was pushed away.

Both suspects rode off on their pedal bikes towards Manford Way.

The first suspect is described as a 16/17 year old of mixed race, around 6ft, with two inch long afro hair and a harelip scar on his top lip.

He was wearing a black and blue puffer jacket with a diagonal stripe pattern and was riding a white mountain bike at the time.

Suspect two is described as a 15 year old black male, 5ft 9in, wearing a navy blue hooded top and black tracksuit bottoms and was riding a black mountain bike.
