Under fives at Kids Inc Nursery, Cleveland Road, South Woodford, got into the celebratory spirit and learned all about the patron saint of Ireland, last week.

The children took part in Irish dancing classes, made cup cakes and decorated them with green icing and glitter and even made some lucky shamrocks to bestow upon their families.

Stevie Deeble, nursery manager said the children had fun and enjoyed colouring in flags.

“They all had a brilliant day,” she added.

“Luckily no one brought in snakes.”
