Chadwell Heath moped crash death victim named as police arrest lorry driver

Police have named a motorcyclist killed after colliding with a lorry in Chadwell Heath having arrested the driver.
Mauricio Caser, 45, from Gladstone Road, north London, was pronounced dead at the scene after his moped collided with a skip lorry in Whalebone Lane North at 8.30am on Wednesday, June 25.
A 37-year-old man from Hertfordshire has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after stopping following the incident.
He has been released on police bail until mid-August, pending further enquiries.
Previous information about the victim published here – namely that he was a married father-of-two originally from Brazil – has been proven incorrect and was the result of mistaken identity on the part of the witness interviewed.
