The first of four special episodes of the Great British Bake Off filmed at Valentines Mansion in Ilford will be on tonight.

It is very nice that BBC is filming some of their programmes particularly related to cookings in Valentines park, Ilford.I feel it is one of the best use of the park.Other Film makers can also make use of this park as well. But I will more appriciate if they all also envolve the local Community. The BBC cookery competition filmed its second series at the mansion, in Emerson Road, and returned to film the specials in September.

The one-hour mini bake-offs will benefit Comic Relief.

In each episode four celebrity bakers of varying experience will compete in challenges devised by experts Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood.

Tonight, comedians Jo Brand, Stephen K Amos, Lorna Watson and Ingrid Oliver will attempt tricky shortbread, custard slices and chocolate cakes to be crowned Star Baker.

Other famous faces in the kitchen will include paralympic champion Ellie Simmonds, Dragon’s Den expert Duncan Bannatyne and presenter Claudia Winkleman.

Tonight’s episode will be on BBC Two at 8.30pm.
