The victim, from Ilford, was making his way through Angel London Underground station when he was attacked at about 12.15am on Saturday January 25.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Oliver Carne, said: “The 21-year-old victim, from Ilford, was making his way through Angel London Underground station with a group of friends.

“A group of around four men approached them and assaulted the victim, before leaving the station.”

Investigators have carried out several lines of enquiry, including viewing CCTV footage from in and around the station.

Officers are now calling on the public to help identify a group of men they believe have key information about what took place.

Det Con Carne added: “This appears to be an unprovoked assault that left the victim with a chipped tooth and a split lip, requiring stitches.

“I’m urging anyone who recognises the group of men pictured, or has any information that could assist with the investigation, to please get in touch.”
