LAS airlifted a teenage boy to hospital last night.


A teenager has been airlifted to hospital after being hit by a lorry this morning.

The 13-year-old was treated for a head injury before being taken to Royal London Hospital as a priority in London’s Air Ambulance.

The incident happened at 8.20am at the junction of Mill Lane and Whalebone Lane North, Chadwell Heath, with traffic diverted away from the scene.

The teenager’s injury is not believed to be life-threatening. Enquiries continue.
