Ilford is set to become home to London's "largest indoor padel venue".
Rocket Padel is set to open its doors at their first London venue in March.
The club first opened in Sweden and has since gone global after a large boom in interest in the racquet sport.
Padel is thought to have originated from Mexico in 1969.
It is played on an enclosed court and uses the same points system as tennis but with different rules.
The sport is considered one of the fastest growing sports across the world.
Oskar Wynne, branch manager for the Ilford club, said: "Our mission at Rocket Padel is to make padel accessible to all.
"Our incredible setting in Ilford will be London’s largest indoor padel venue, and we can’t wait to welcome Ilford’s community at this prime location.
"We believe that our venue will be a driving force behind the continued growth of padel in the UK as well as the local community.”
The Ilford venue will be Rocket Padel's second UK club, after opening in Bristol.
The club will provide padel players with eleven indoor courts to allow playing all year round.
Chief executive and co-founder Sebastien Gordon said: "It’s a very social game, with a low entry barrier, fun, easy to learn. We obviously love it and it’s just growing.
“Padel is just exploding, across not only the UK because of the strong racquet heritage that you guys have, but also because of the strong global awareness. It’s being built up by a lot of influencers."

The Ilford venue is expected to create between ten to 20 jobs in the local community and will welcome all players regardless of age and experience.
Visitors will be able to rent equipment and arrange coaching if they wish to develop their padel skills further.
Oskar said: "It opens itself up to such a large group of people.
"Certainly in London, there is such a large demand for padel and there isn’t enough supply so in terms of Ilford and east London, to have a venue like this is super exciting.
"Junior padel in the UK is something that I think is pretty untouched but I think that we would love to make a big push at that and get lots of kids involved."
The team are reaching out to local schools and groups to get them involved in the run up to the club's opening in March.
The club hopes to host tournaments further down the line to engage players and keep the interest in padel strong.
Sebastien said: "I think in the racquet community, we’re going to put Ilford on the map."
