A businessman is cycling 350 miles from Brussels to Paris for the Help for Heroes charity – and to raise funds he is holding a black-tie dinner event tomorrow.
The formal evening, at the Prince Regent Hotel, Woodford Bridge, will play host to a cabaret and a magician to accompany a three-course meal and fine wine.
Kevin Clarke, managing director of Clintons Property Management, in Stainforth Road, Newbury Park, is gearing up for the Belgium-France cycle to raise money for the war-wounded charity as well as remember the start of the First World War in its centenary year.
He will join 300 other cyclists, including 50 wounded ex-servicemen, in charity’s Big Battlefield Bike Ride.
Doors to the dinner event, supported by Redbridge Chamber of Commerce, will open at 6.30pm and tickets cost £75 per head, or £700 for a table of 10.
For tickets, contact Mr Clarke on email@example.com or telephone 020 8597 7342.
