Three security guards working in Newham received formal warnings after breaching their licence conditions.
The workers were caught by the Security Industry Authority (SIA) failing to display their licence while on duty.
But checks on 25 security staff working at 20 sites across the borough showed that all held a valid SIA licence.
The SIA is the organisation responsible for regulating the private security industry in the UK.
Head of investigation Jacquie Parker said: “I am pleased with the results of this random compliance operation.
“The security staff we checked were deployed by a number of security suppliers so it is reassuring that all operatives were working legally.”

I object and find offensive that security personel at westfeild are dressed as pseudo policemen. I also object to the blurring of the lines between officers of the crown and community supoort officers. I find that is offensive as well. No good will come of it. I also find it an offence that a london transport community officer who is not an officer of the crown wearign a badge that has a crown on it. Another blurrign . No good will come of that too. Thank God Mt livingstones promsie of 30000 police men which was projected in a picture of an evening paper as two community support officers on hsi left and one police officer on his right. I also object to newham civil servants claiming powers of upholding the law. Also dresed as Pseudo police officers. I dont think then great rejoicings shoudl be made over two security personel being made to put on their licence! But rather weep over a council a parliament that is unwillin gto back upthe police unless they tow the political line .
