Double title joy for happy Hayes

REDBRIDGE enjoyed some impressive performances at the London Winter Senior Championships last weekend.

Phoebe Hayes won both 400m and 800m freestyle titles, while also finishing fifth in the 200m backstroke.

Ben Hollis was first in the 100m butterfly junior ranking, while picking up personal bests in the 200m butterfly and 50m freestyle.

Dean Smith also managed a best in the 200m butterfly where he finished second and a host of other events, including the 100m backstroke, when he was fourth.

Craig Moate won all of the disability events, while Jonathan Worby knocked 13 seconds off his 800m freestyle bests.

Lawrence Brown returned from illness to swim well, just missing his previous bests, while Chris Stamp managed a PB in the 100m freestyle.

Charlie Dentith had a good weekend, equalling his PBs in the majority of his swims, while Sophie Copper was just outside here best in the 100m backstroke.

Jessica Lambert was fractionally outside her PB in the 50m freestyle, while Ellie Bedwell equalled her PB in the 200m freestyle and Kelsey Richards made the final of the 200m butterfly.

Ryan Smith equalled his PB in the 50m freestyle and Lewis Defreitas-Archer set bests in the 100m and 200m backstroke.

Emily Cole managed a PB in the 400m freestyle and finished seventh in the 100m butterfly.

Joe Stamp had a good weekend, setting a PB in the 100m backstroke and 200m indivdiual medley.
