Boy, 7, fighting for life after Newbury Park hit and run

A SEVEN-year-old boy is in a life-threatening condition in hospital after a hit and run collision yesterday.

The boy was struck in Leyswood Drive, Newbury Park, at 5.15pm.

He is in being treated at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London.

Police say the blue van reportedly involved in the collision did not stop at the scene.

They are appealing for witnesses to come forward and are eager for the driver of the blue van to contact them.
