Vandal-proof clubhouse for bowlers

A "VANDAL-proof" steel and brick building is set to replace the burned out bowls club in Goodmayes Park by next March.
Charles Garland, secretary of the Goodmayes Bowls Club, Goodmayes Park, Aberdour Road, Goodmayes met with an engineer from the council yesterday (Wednesday) to plan for the demolition of the vandalised building following the club's planning application to the council.
