Man fights for life after 'attack'

A MAN is fighting for his life after an alleged attack on Halloween.

Police were called out just after 11am on Saturday to Chapel Road, Ilford.

A spokesman said: "On arrival we discovered the alleged victim nearby, suffering from a head injury.

"He was taken to an east London hospital where he remains in a critical condition."

Officers from Ilford CID are investigating.
